Burak Gunay was selected as a recipient of an ASHRAE graduate Student Grant-In-Aid for the 2014-2015 academic year. Burak鈥檚 research 鈥淥ccupant-Learning Blinds and Lighting Automation鈥� to better represent occupant behavior in building performance simulation and in building controls to improve building energy efficiency. He supervised by Liam O鈥橞rien and Ian Beausoleil-Morrison.
Among the graduate-student nominees, Burak also holds the added distinction of being named the 鈥淟ife Member Club Grant Recipient鈥� as one of the top two rated applicants.
