The retreat will take place during the third week of July at the Queen\u2019s University Biology Station on Lake Opinicon, an idyllic spot just north of Kingston, Ontario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guests at the Lake Shift receive shared accommodation, three meals per day, and bus service from Kingston to Lake Opinicon and back. Activities apart from writing include swimming and hiking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>杏吧原创 University\u2019s Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs would like to send four 杏吧原创 PhD students to the Lake Shift retreat. The FGPA will cover the $500 fee for each student, and the students will only have to pay for their transportation between Ottawa and Kingston. <\/strong>Bus service from Kingston to Lake Opinicon and back is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please send us an email with your name, program, and a short paragraph telling us how this retreat would help you make progress in writing your dissertation. We will choose four students based on these submissions to invite to the retreat.
