For more information, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/psychology\/\">department website<\/a> and view the application requirements (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/psychology\/graduate-studies\/graduate\/master-of-arts\/\">MA<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/psychology\/graduate-studies\/graduate\/doctorate-of-philosophy\/\">PhD<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3>Volunteer Opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>Are you a psychology student interested in gaining experience in a research lab?<\/p>\n<p>The 杏吧原创 Goal Lab works with\u00a0motivated, enthusiastic, and diligent students who have an interest in social psychological research! Volunteering as a Research Assistant (RA) provides valuable research experience that can help students succeed in their Honours Thesis projects and in future graduate studies. RAs are introduced to a range of research experiences, with some of the main tasks including: data entry, coding, running participants through in-lab studies, and reviewing study materials. Advanced training (e.g., research design, statistical training) may be available for exceptional students who commit to more than one semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interested students should meet the following criteria to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>杏吧原创 University student (Psychology students preferred)<\/li>\n<li>At least 2<sup>nd<\/sup> year standing<\/li>\n<li>Successful completion of Research Methods (PSYC 2001) and Statistical Methods (PSYC 2002) is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>Strong academic record (CGPA of 10 or higher preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Interest in social psychological research (check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/goallab\/lab-staff\/\">Goal Lab member profiles<\/a> for specific research areas)<\/li>\n<li>Prepared to commit 6-10 hours per week to the lab<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying to become a volunteer with our lab, please email <a href=\"&#109;&#x61;&#x69;l&#116;&#x6f;:&#99;&#x61;&#x72;&#108;&#x65;&#x74;o&#110;&#x2e;g&#111;&#x61;&#x6c;&#108;&#x61;&#x62;&#64;&#103;&#x6d;a&#105;&#x6c;&#x2e;&#99;&#x6f;&#x6d;\">&#x63;&#x61;&#x72;&#108;&#101;&#116;on&#x2e;&#x67;&#x6f;&#x61;&#108;&#108;ab&#x40;&#x67;&#x6d;&#x61;&#105;&#108;&#46;c&#x6f;&#x6d;<\/a> to request our online application.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Have other questions about our work or other opportunities with the Goal Lab?<\/strong> Please contact us!
