Fourteen FPGA Alumni Elected to Parliament

The Faculty of Public and Global Affairs (FPGA) is proud to celebrate the success of our alumni in Canada’s most recent federal election in which fourteen were elected to Parliament. This milestone reflects our commitment to cultivating leaders who shape policy, serve the public, and represent communities across the country.

Of the fourteen alumni elected, nine studied Political Science, two graduated from the Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management (BPAPM), one holds a Master of Journalism, one studied Economics, and one earned a degree in International Affairs. Their academic journeys reflect the depth and diversity of FPGA’s programs in areas such as public affairs and policy management, political science, journalism, and economics. With strengths in public policy, governance studies, international affairs, public administration, and policy research, these programs offer students the knowledge and experiential learning needed to succeed in careers that shape Canada’s political and public landscape. Whether it’s through the Arthur Kroeger College or specialized training in areas like digital journalism, economic theory, or global development policy, students are equipped to turn their studies into meaningful public service.

Please join us in congratulating the following alumni:
