It is also a time to reflect on the struggles that persist and to recommit ourselves to the pursuit of justice.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During this Pride Month, we celebrate the beauty, resilience, and diverse experiences of the 2SLGBTQI community. As a collective of educators, authors, and activists, we stand against the policing and criminalization of marginalized communities, including 2SLGBTQI individuals who are disproportionately impacted by the prison-industrial complex. We advocate for transformative justice, seeking to address harm and promote healing without perpetuating cycles of violence.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let us celebrate Pride Month by uplifting and centering the voices of 2SLGBTQI people, particularly those who are often marginalized within the community, including queer and trans people of color, disabled queer individuals, and those at the intersections of multiple marginalized identities.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pride Month is an opportunity to honor the achievements and contributions of 2SLGBTQI activists who have paved the way in the community.
