In the spring of 2015, he launched his new research project exploring Eminem, \u201caggrieved entitlement\u201d (Kimmel 2008) and other affective dimensions of youth masculinities in times of socio-economic crisis. Currently, Irving is wrapping up his <a href=\"https:\/\/egale.ca\/egale-in-action\/working-for-change-a-two-spirit-and-trans-underemployment-study\/\">study<\/a> of trans* and two-spirit individuals experiences of unemployment and underemployment. He has presented findings to academic, professional and public audiences. Irving is the co-editor of <a href=\"https:\/\/canadianscholars.ca\/book\/trans-activism-in-canada\/\"><em>Trans Activism in Canada: A Reader<\/em><\/a> (with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queerevents.ca\/queer\/individual\/rupert-raj\">Rupert Raj<\/a>) published by Canadian Scholar\u2019s Press. His work has been published in <em>Transgender Studies Reader 2<\/em>, <em>Sexuality Studies<\/em> and <em>Australian Feminist Studies<\/em>.
