These standards ensure the ongoing protection of cardholder data and protects ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University from adverse financial consequences.

Merchants – those who process, store, or transmit credit card information – may be required to change the way they process credit card information. This will result in better control over operations and a better model, including a mechanism to train new employees.

Customers – anyone who makes a credit card purchase from a campus vendor –  will experience little to no impact.  This change will be aligned with current best practices. This will result in a standardized service that guarantees protection of their information.

The PCI compliance program at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ will include new standards which merchants must adhere to, training for merchants (dates to be announced soon), and an option to take advantage of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s new in house web based E-Commerce solution.
