English Department Professor Donald Beecher<\/a> was recognized with one of Canadian academia\u2019s highest honours for Canadian research excellence. Donald Beecher and Lenore Fahrig were elected<\/a> as Fellows to the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) on Sept. 7, 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Beecher\u2019s academic work<\/a> has included the translation and scholarly editing of numerous Renaissance works.
