Fall Orientation registrants will gain exclusive access to the close-out concert taking place on-campus at Ravens Nest featuring Elijah Woods.

Hailing from Ottawa and now based in Los Angeles, elijah woods is a multi-faceted, multi-platinum pop artist, singer-songwriter, and producer. Renowned for his irresistibly catchy melodies, vivid storytelling, and signature crisp production, he has established himself as one of pop music’s most compelling solo acts, as well as a highly sought-after collaborator. 

With multiple platinum and gold records and four JUNO Award nominations, elijah is an artist on the cusp of superstardom. The Fall Orientation Team is excited to provide participants with access to CityFolk on Friday, September 9, 2022.

As a registrant in Fall Orientation you are eligible to pick up a day pass to CityFolk Festival on September 9^th featuring The Glorious Sons If you haven’t done so already, you can pick up both tickets from the Student Experience Office located in 430 Tory Building on on Friday, September 9^th from 8:30 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. You must bring your Campus Card or photo ID and participation bracelet to pick up your ticket.

Registrants in Central, SciFrosh, and Sprosh also have the BONUS opportunity to attend the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Ravens football game on September 10^th at 1:00 P.M when they take on York University.  Tickets for the football game are also available for pickup on Friday until 7:00 P.M.

The Fall Orientation Team is excited to host incoming students for a week packed full of fun activities as we help you gain the skills necessary to transition to university life at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University.

The orientation experience will provide registrants with the opportunity to participate in exciting events such as CUSA Block Party, Canal Games, Explore Ottawa, and Athletics Night.  We look forward to meeting incoming students in person and wanted to share some advance information as we lead up to the events.

Orientation Kit Pickups

Registrants can collect their orientation kits from Fenn Lounge located in ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Residence Commons on Campus Avenue; this is where you will get your Ravens sweatshirt, t-shirt, and much more in a ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ swag bag. You will need to bring Photo ID such as your Campus Card or another piece of identification and can collect your kit during the following dates and times:

Orientation Kit pickups will continue to be available after September 5th from the Student Experience Office (SEO) located at 430 Tory Building.  The SEO is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Schedule of Events

Our orientation team has been hard at work to develop a schedule that will provide exciting, fun, and inclusive programming.  We have a full lineup of events from September 4 – 9, 2022*.  Events will only be taking place outside of traditional class times and we have made sure that everyone will be available to attend Academic Orientation Day where you will meet members of your faculty.
