Here are some of our results.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Habitat fragmentation, independent of habitat loss, generally has no effect or a positive effect on species.<\/li>\n<li>The habitat amount hypothesis is supported for European forest beetles and South American small mammals.<\/li>\n<li>Farmlands with more crop types and smaller fields have more amphibians and more birds.<\/li>\n<li>Road-kill hotspots are not usually the best places to put road mitigation (fencing and wildlife passages).<\/li>\n<li>Landscape change is reducing variation among species in dispersal abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Below are the citations.
