\"TurtleAs of 2015, Dr. Fahrig has published 148 journal articles and has co-written three books and collaborated with many other researchers for various projects and have had their work included in 30 book chapters.<\/p>\n

One of her significant works is the collaboration for the production of the book Road Ecology: Science and Solutions<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This book uses ecological theories and linking it with various concepts, such as the study of wildlife populations and roadsides and vegetation, to bring awareness to the impact of roads on the environment and how this affects transportation on different platforms.<\/p>\n

Road ecology uses previous knowledge from leading ecologists and transportation specialists to further understand and develop functional ways of road engineering to keep harm towards the environment and ecological system to a minimum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
