Amendments can also be used to extend the duration of a Contract. A Contract Amendment leaves the original Contract substantially intact.<\/p>\n<h3>Why is it important?<\/h3>\n<p>It is important to officially document any changes to a Contract to ensure the Contract is always reflective of the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/glossary\/agreement\/\">Agreement<\/a> in place between you and your <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/facts\/glossary\/v\/vendor\/\">vendor<\/a>.
