What is it?<\/h3>\n

Non\u00a0Travel\u00a0Advances are payments to an individual for an event that has not yet taken place but for which the individual needs cash in hand prior to the event.<\/p>\n

Why is it important?<\/h3>\n

Researchers may receive cash advances for out of pocket costs such as fees for participants in a research study.\u00a0 An accounting for the advances must be supported with proper documentation and submitted within 10 business days.<\/p>\n
