The Jean Monnet Chair \u201cDemocracy in the European Union\u201d, in cooperation with Cinema Politica 杏吧原创, invites you to a public film screening:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The screening will be followed by a Skype discussion with a staff member of MEP Jan Philipp Albrecht\u2018s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEMOCRACY<\/i> offers an insight into the political struggle for new data protection legislation in the EU. It follows MEP Jan Philipp Albrecht and (former) EU Commissioner  Viviane Reding during the legislative process, thus bringing complex power structures to life and offering a snapshot of EU-level democracy today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
