The Recruitment of Policy Leaders (RPL) is a highly competitive recruitment program created by the Government of Canada to find exceptional individuals with advanced degrees in any field who want to have an impact through a contribution to public policy. Successful applicants are eligible to be placed in mid- to high-level policy positions throughout government.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In order to be granted an interview, applicants must meet the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u25cf a Master\u2019s or a Doctoral degree in any discipline OR a Law degree complemented by an undergraduate degree in any discipline, from a recognized university, completed by December 31, 2014;
\n\u25cf a record of academic excellence or distinction;
\n\u25cf relevant policy experience acquired in at least one of the following fields: economic, political, legal, social or scientific; and
\n\u25cf a record of personal initiative, accomplishment or leadership that has brought about positive change in a community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
