Recipient(s) will be chosen by a Committee struck by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Affairs. &nbsp;The committee will include Dr. Piotr Dutkiewicz (Magna Fund coordinator).<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Applications <\/strong>should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A letter of application, outlining the importance of the travel and the purpose of the &nbsp;bursary;<\/li>\n<li>For conference or workshop participation, an abstract of the paper and indication of acceptance of the paper by the conference organizers;<\/li>\n<li>A listing of other support that is expected or has been applied for and justification of the amount requested from the Magna Fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;Deadlines for application are March 21, 2011 and November 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Please send your application to Ginette Lafleur , EURUS Administrator, 1311 Dunton Tower or by email at <a href=\"mailto:ginette_lafleur@carleton.ca\">ginette_lafleur@carleton.ca<\/a>. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Further information<\/strong> is available from Professor Piotr Dutkiewicz, <a href=\"mailto:piotr_dutkiewicz@carleton.ca\">piotr_dutkiewicz@carleton.ca<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This bursary is generously supported by <em>Magna Fund for Russian Studies<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp; <em>Magna Fund For Russian Studies<\/em>&nbsp; (based in The Faculty of Public Affairs at 杏吧原创 University)&nbsp; can offer&nbsp; four&nbsp; or more grants to 杏吧原创 faculty members to support travel to Russia or elsewhere to undertake fieldwork on Russia or Russian relations with the outside world, to participate in Russian studies&nbsp; research-related conferences or workshops&nbsp; , or to develop or reinforce university-based research partnerships or exchange programs &nbsp;&nbsp;between Russia and Canada.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Recipients of grants may be asked to present a research seminar or public lecture following return from the travel.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum grant is $ 2500 and is intended to supplement other funding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:&nbsp;
