CONTRACT INSTRUCTOR POSITION
\nInstitute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pursuant to Article 16 of the CUPE 4600 (unit 2) Agreement, and subject to budgetary approval, the following course is open for competition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WINTER 2011
\nNation Building in Central and Eastern Europe
\nEURR 4100\/5100
\nFridays, 14:35-17:25<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Processes of nation building in the region examined in terms of a particular country, or set of countries. Emphasis should be placed on the new European Union\/ former Communist states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants for this position should normally have a PhD in a relevant discipline and relevant areas of expertise and teaching experience. A course outline, CV, summary of teaching experience and, if possible, evaluations of previous courses, as well as two letters of recommendation should be sent directly to EURUS director Jeff Sahadeo at jeff_sahadeo@carleton.ca or EURUS, ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University, 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ont.
