His current research broadly focuses on nationalism and authoritarianism in Russia and the former Soviet states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/law\/people\/wilke-christiane\/\">Christiane Wilke<\/a> is a Professor in the Law department. Her research examines ow Western militaries and human rights organizations produce knowledge about and legal analyses of armed conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.
