He was chosen by the Young Diplomats of Canada and the&nbsp;Y20 Japanese Committee following a series of evaluations and interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bahman engaged in discussions with other youth and G20 delegates on the topics of Business and Environment, the Future of Work, and International Trade. They drafted three proposals on the issues that were presented to the Prime Minister of Japan, Abe Shinzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"attachment_33954\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 397px;\">\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft wp-image-33954\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/fpa\/wp-content\/uploads\/ali1-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"Ali Bahman sits at a conference table behind a microphone with other youth.\" class=\"wp-image-33954\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ali Bahman takes part in discussions with other youth at the G20 in Japan.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bahman\u2019s personal story makes his experience at the G20 all the more remarkable.
