Payment Deadline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Payment<\/a> for your Fall Term is due by August 25 <\/strong>and your Winter Term fees are due November 25 <\/strong>to avoid additional charges. If you are planning to apply for student loans, be sure to apply as soon as possible (there’s no need to wait for an admissions decision to begin your application). If you will be receiving funding from a Government Student Aid Program such as OSAP<\/a>, you may be<\/em> eligible to defer<\/a> fee payment beyond the August 25 payment deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if I pay after the deadline?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Late charges will be applied. Detailed payment information can be found on the Student Accounts website: carleton.ca\/fees<\/strong><\/a>. Please contact our Student Accounts office if you have any concerns about payment at 613-520-3626 or student_accounts@carleton.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do I have to pay for both terms at the same time?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

No \u2013 while many students and parents prefer to pay the entire academic year up-front, you do have an option to pay by term, provided your payments are received by the associated deadlines<\/a>. Make sure you are aware of the late<\/a> and interest<\/a> charge penalties for late payment, as well as our financial hold<\/a> policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can I check my balance?<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You may check your balance online via 杏吧原创 Central<\/a>. Click on \u201cCalculate Amount to Pay\u201d from the \u201cRegistration\u201d menu. The \u2018Total Amount to Pay\u2019 amount is your account balance. The \u2018Minimum Amount to Pay\u2019 amount is the balance for your fall term (if electing to pay by term).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Canadian students should expect to budget about $20,000 per year if living away from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bursaries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bursaries are monetary awards based on financial need. Some bursary support is available to ESP students demonstrating financial need.  See the Awards Office website<\/a> for details on applying for a bursary. Most ESP students apply for a bursary in the fall, and if successful, receive it for the winter semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Loans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students enrolled in the ESP may be eligible, if qualified, for assistance under one or more of the following components of the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
