And don\u2019t forget to register for fall and winter as soon as your&nbsp;time ticket&nbsp;allows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For registration questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:environmentalscience@carleton.ca\">environmentalscience@carleton.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"eight-steps-to-registration\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eight Steps to Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/central.carleton.ca\/prod\/bwysched.p_select_term?wsea_code=EXT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">list of courses that are being offered<\/a>&nbsp;in the summer or fall and winter terms. &nbsp;It is important that you register for both your&nbsp;<strong>fall and winter courses as soon as your&nbsp;time ticket&nbsp;allows<\/strong>. Courses fill up quickly. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;<strong>Compare&nbsp;the course offerings to your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/your-academic-audit\/how-to-read-your-audit\/94-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">audit<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>to understand what you are required to complete for your degree. Your audit is the most important document you have at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´, as it tells you how you are doing and what you need to do to graduate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Review the&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;<\/strong>for:<br><br><a href=\"http:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/regulations\/academicregulationsandrequirementsforthebachelorofsciencedegree\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">advanced science faculty electives<br><br>arts and social science courses<\/a><br><br><a href=\"http:\/\/calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/regulations\/academicregulationsandrequirementsforthebachelorofsciencedegree\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">science continuation courses<br><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Run a<strong> \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/academicadvising\/your-academic-audit\/why-add-planned-courses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hypothetical Courses<\/a>\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>audit to determine whether your course selections will meet your degree requirements. You can even assign hypothetical grades to determine how your GPA would change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review&nbsp;the general&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registration\/registration-support\/\">registration assistance<\/a>&nbsp;and general&nbsp;registration information.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you would like to register for a course but are restricted because you do not meet the prerequisites or it is restricted to students in a different program, you can submit an <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/registration\/override-requests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ov<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/registration\/access-courses\/submitting-registration-override-request\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">erride<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/registration\/access-courses\/submitting-registration-override-request\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> reque<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/registration\/access-courses\/submitting-registration-override-request\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">st<\/a>.
