I am a second year Master’s student in the Biology program with a concentration in Biochemistry. I am leading the initial efforts to characterize microbial communities from different types of electronic waste. I am particularly interested in applying sequencing approaches alongside geochemical analyses to identify pathways for rare earth element recovery.
