�Ӱ�ԭ�� University’s Faculty of Engineering and Design has received global recognition, underscoring its growing reputation as a leader in engineering and design education and research.

�Ӱ�ԭ��’s telecommunications engineering profile was ranked 28th in the world—up four spots from last year—and 3rd in Canada, behind only the University of Waterloo and the University of British Columbia.

�Ӱ�ԭ��’s Experiential Learning Fund (CUELF), supported by Employment and Social Development Canada, funded 14 projects in July 2025. Initiatives span VR, field experiences, community archives, engineering labs, and public partnerships—enhancing hands‑on learning across diverse disciplines for undergrad and graduate students. Congratulations to Prof. Hima Dhulipati (Electronics), Prof. Juan Jimenez (Industrial Design), Prof. Andrew Harris (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering), Prof. Lisa Moffitt and Prof. Jerry Hacker (Architecture and Urbanism)!

�Ӱ�ԭ�� University’s Faculty of Engineering and Design (FED) has moved up two spots to No. 10 in Canada in the . FED’s electronics engineering profile ranked No. 4 in Canada, and for the first time, our civil engineering profile was ranked No. 9 nationally.

The U.S. News & World Report, a U.S.-based media company known for education analysis and global rankings, placed �Ӱ�ԭ��’s Faculty of Engineering and Design in the top 30 per cent of engineering schools worldwide. The rankings are based solely on academic research performance and international reputation.
