The largest obstacle to the mass adoption of electrified transportation has been to create an affordable and reliable EV. To address this, the goal of this research, at the component level, is to develop fault detection and diagnosis techniques for continued functionality and performance of electric motors (e鈥搈otors) for an EV application.
