Eastern Europe and Transatlantic Network: Who are we?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Eastern Europe and Transatlantic Network (EETN) is a new initiative hosted by the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies<\/a> at 杏吧原创 University and funded by the Department of National Defence<\/a>. This project will offer a critical Canadian perspective on the political, economic, and societal shifts that have occurred since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EETN is one of three recipients of the Government of Canada’s Mobilizing Insights in Defence and Security<\/em> (MINDS)<\/a> funding for collaborative networks in the 2024-2025 year. The EETN addresses two of the major defence policy challenges outlined by the Canadian Government: Strategic Competition and Global Issues. With aims to provide insight into strategic competition and global issues in regions of study, the EETN offers a critical perspective on the ongoing geopolitical, economic, and societal situations in Europe, Eurasia, and the Arctic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e9seau europ\u00e9en de l’Est et transatlantique (REET): Qui sommes nous? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le r\u00e9seau europ\u00e9en de l’Est et transatlantique (REET) est une nouvelle initiative h\u00e9berg\u00e9e par l\u2019Institut d\u2019\u00e9tudes europ\u00e9ennes, russes et eurasiennes<\/a> de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 杏吧原创 et financ\u00e9e par le minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale<\/a> (MDN). Ce projet vise \u00e0 offrir une perspective canadienne critique sur les changements politiques, \u00e9conomiques et soci\u00e9taux survenus depuis l\u2019invasion russe de l\u2019Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le REET est l\u2019un des trois b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires du financement MINDS (Mobilisation des id\u00e9es nouvelles en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9)<\/em><\/a> du gouvernement canadien pour les r\u00e9seaux collaboratifs au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2024-2025. Il aborde deux des principaux enjeux politiques de d\u00e9fense d\u00e9finis par le gouvernement du Canada : la concurrence strat\u00e9gique et les enjeux globaux. Afin d\u2019offrir un aper\u00e7u de ces dynamiques dans les r\u00e9gions \u00e9tudi\u00e9es, Le REET propose une analyse critique des situations g\u00e9opolitiques, \u00e9conomiques et soci\u00e9tales en cours en Europe, en Eurasie et dans l\u2019Arctique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
