The main focus of this research under Theme 3 of FlareNet, is to complete the world’s first systematic experiments quantifying the impacts of wind turbulence scale and intensity on emissions from flares. The objective of these initial experiments is to evaluate the impact of turbulent (gusting) winds on flare efficiency.
