His paper titled &#8220;The Short Term Effect of COVID-19 on Self-Employed Workers in Canada&#8221; (with Tobi Fakorede and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/economics\/people\/mikola-derek\/\">Derek Mikola<\/a>) has been accepted at <em>Canadian Public Policy<\/em> &#8211; the foremost peer-reviewed journal examining economic and social public policy issues in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Derek is one of our PhD students and Tobi is one of our MA students (working as an RA for the summer from Louis&#8217;s FPA Research Internship Program).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations, to Louis, Derek, and Tobi, on this timely publication informing public policy on the labour market effects COVID-19!&nbsp; Also, a great example of involving our graduate students in research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Professor Louis-Philippe Beland!
