Your supervisor must send an approval email to the Graduate Administrator team to approve the registration override request.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Once the thesis is started, you must maintain continuous registration until completion. This includes registering in the summer term.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Forms<\/h4>\n<p>When you\u2019re ready to schedule a defence, your supervisor must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/dsaai\/scheduling-a-masters-thesis-defence\/\">Scheduling a Master\u2019s Thesis Defence<\/a> form.<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to enroll in a course that is not on the approved DSAAI Approved Electives list, then you will need to complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/dsaai\/permission-for-credit\/\">Permission for Credit<\/a> form.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a id=\"Project\"><\/a>Project<\/h3>\n<p>This is a general guideline only.
