New and current students can apply for several internal, external and special awards. Application deadlines vary. Students should consult the specifics of the awards to understand the eligibility requirements, application materials, and necessary internal deadlines. More information on these opportunities can be found on the\u00a0Graduate Students website.<\/a><\/p>\n\n \n\t\tAwards and Funding \u2197<\/a>\n\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/p>\n A teaching assistant (TA) assists course instructors with various duties which may include conducting labs or study groups, assisting with lecture preparation, and marking assignments and tests. Priority TAs receive a TA award as part of their funding package at the time of application.
