Project Description<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Overview: The rapid adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) has increased the demand for efficient and user-friendly charging solutions. Conventional plug-in charging systems require manual operation and are not compatible with fully autonomous systems. Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) offers a promising alternative by enabling contactless charging. However, its efficiency is highly sensitive to coil misalignment, which poses a major challenge in real-world applications. This project aims to integrate autonomous alignment technology with wireless charging, enabling a vehicle to automatically position itself for optimal charging without human intervention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Project Objectives

    –Design a wireless charging system for electric vehicle (electrical scooter)

    –Develop an autonomous alignment system

    –Integrate sensing, control, and power systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. System Overview

    The system includes:

    -Solar power generation and energy storage system

    – Wireless Power Transfer System

    – Alignment Monitoring and Autonomous Motion Control System<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Subtasks

    Subtask 1 (2-3 students): Solar power generation and energy storage system: solar panel, dc-dc converter, MPPT control, energy storage integration.

    Subtask 2 (2-3 students): Wireless Power Transfer System: Coil design, inverter, rectifier, efficiency analysis.

    Subtask 3(3-4 students): Alignment detection, sensors (camera\/ultrasonic), position estimation, and motion control<\/li>\n\n\n\n
