Three <strong>funded<\/strong> research positions for master&#8217;s and doctoral thesis students are available for <strong>Fall 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>GenAI software tool to develop building performance simulation-based retrofit decision making tool (partnership with NRC)<\/li>\n<li>Integration of personalized comfort systems in automation and control systems (partnership with Concordia University)<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and assessment of advanced supervisory control technologies (partnership with Delta Controls)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ideal candidates are expected to have following attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Background in building engineering or related areas;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of building energy modelling techniques and HVAC systems;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of programming environments such as Python, and Matlab;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Domestic students will be given priority in admission.
