\n Page Templates\n <\/h1>\n \n \n \n\n

Page templates allow you to change how an individual page is displayed without changing the page’s content.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Most pages in cuTheme should use the Default template<\/strong>. However, additional templates may be available for pages that require a specific layout or behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing a page template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To change the template used by a page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the page you want to edit in WordPress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Open the Page settings<\/strong> sidebar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Find the Template<\/strong> setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select the current template to view the available options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Choose the template you want to use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Save<\/strong> or Update<\/strong> the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The selected template controls how WordPress displays the page on the website. Changing the template does not replace or remove the content you have added in the editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Default template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Default template<\/strong> is the standard template used by cuTheme and should be used for most pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Unless your page has a specific requirement that is supported by another available template, leave this option set to Default template<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Other page templates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Depending on the site and the features available in cuTheme, additional templates may appear in the Template<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For example, the Archived Content<\/strong> template can be selected for a page that needs the presentation provided by that template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each template may change how the page is presented or provide behaviour intended for a particular type of content.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Tip:<\/strong> Only select a different template when the purpose of the template matches the page you are creating. For a standard content page, use the Default template<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

    Changing a template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can change the template assigned to an existing page at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Changing the template changes how the page is displayed, but the content created in the WordPress editor remains associated with the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After changing a template, preview the page to make sure the content works as expected with the new layout.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
