People posts are used to create profiles for members of your department. These kinds of posts are useful for providing contact information to the community, along with biographies, personal websites, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is an example of what a people post looks like in cuTheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add a People Post<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/strong>From the dashboard, go over to the left side of the screen, hover over People<\/strong>, and click Add New<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edit the Banner<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2.<\/strong> Click in the banner area to add first and last name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong> Add a Profile Photo by clicking Set featured Image<\/strong> under the Person tab at the right (near the bottom). You can choose from the media library or upload an image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To change the image, click Replace <\/strong>or Remove<\/strong> under the Block options tab and select a new image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edit People Options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

4.<\/strong> Click the pencil icon at the top right to edit People Options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edit personal information such as designation and pronouns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add in job title, degree, and location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Include contact info such as email and phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally, you can add in social links and info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.<\/strong> Like with a page, you can add other blocks<\/a>, such as a heading or paragraph, for more biographical information, publications, or other relevant content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.<\/strong> People can be pulled onto a page in the form of listings or cards. View this tutorial for details on how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
