WordPress provides a central location where you can manage all patterns created on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Understanding how to manage patterns is especially important when working with <strong>synced patterns<\/strong>, as a single change can affect multiple pages throughout your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"why-manage-patterns\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Manage Patterns?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over time, your collection of patterns may grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve layouts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove outdated patterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Correct errors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rename patterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reorganize categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regular maintenance helps keep your pattern library useful and easy to navigate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"accessing-pattern-management\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessing Pattern Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To manage patterns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the editor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Options<\/strong> menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>Manage Patterns<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This area displays all available patterns on your site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From here, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>View existing patterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit patterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delete patterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review pattern details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"editing-a-pattern\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing a Pattern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To edit a pattern:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open <strong>Manage Patterns<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locate the pattern you wish to update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make your changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the pattern.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After saving, the updated version becomes available throughout the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"editing-synced-patterns\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing Synced Patterns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When editing a synced pattern, proceed carefully. A synced pattern remains connected everywhere it is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you update the phone number in the pattern:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2705 The change appears everywhere the pattern is used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can be extremely useful when content must remain consistent across a website. However, it also means mistakes can affect multiple pages at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Always verify changes to a synced pattern before saving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"editing-non-synced-patterns\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing Non-Synced Patterns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-synced patterns behave differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Updating the pattern affects future uses of the pattern, but existing instances that have already been inserted and edited independently will not automatically update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes non-synced patterns ideal for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul future?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is it a synced pattern affecting existing content?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Removing a pattern from the library does not automatically mean content In this video, we&nbsp;will go over managing patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last step to mastering patterns is&nbsp;managing them, this can be editing or deleting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To manage your patterns, go to&nbsp;the top right of the screen,&nbsp;click on \u201cManage Patterns\u201d, and a&nbsp;list of your patterns will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hover over a pattern to get options for it.
