She credits her work in co-curating <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px;\" href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/icslac\/2019\/morsels-of-memory-a-taste-of-ottawas-food-history-march-30-2019-april-11-2019\/\">Morsels of Memory: A Taste of Ottawa\u2019s Food History<\/a><span class=\"apple-converted-space\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">an exhibition with fellow Curatorial Studies students,<\/span><span class=\"apple-converted-space\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> as inspiration for her MA research. \u00a0Friend studied how children and childhood have been represented in Canadian commemorations like monuments and memorials.\u00a0Along with this research, she also designed a participatory project with a group of children at an elementary school in Montreal where they were asked to design their own monuments to Canadian childhood. MA. Art History (杏吧原创 University), MA. International Affairs (杏吧原创 University), B.A. Science of Communications (UPAEP). Gracia is an adjunct professor of Curatorial Studies at Gratz College. She also worked under a 杏吧原创 fellowship on a children&#8217;s museology research project. Her primary area of research is contemporary Indigenous art. With her dissertation, &#8220;Should Mexico be included in the Native North American art conversation?, The Case of Mexican indigenous contemporary artist Fernando Palma&#8217;s solo exhibition at MoMA, 2018.&#8221; (Supervisor: Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/aah\/people\/carmen-robertson\/\">Carmen Robertson<\/a>), she has participated in academic conferences in the United States and Canada.
