We will be hosting our <strong>incoming student orientation<\/strong>\u00a0for first year students on Tuesday, September 6th at <a href=\"http:\/\/dining.carleton.ca\/locations\/bakers\/\">Bakers<\/a>, University Centre, 4th floor\u00a0at 8:30 am for breakfast. Please save this date.<\/p>\n<p>There are some really amazing resources on 杏吧原创&#8217;s website for graduate students and faculty &#8211; such as this site for the required <a href=\"http:\/\/gradstudents.carleton.ca\/forms-policies\/\">forms and policies <\/a>for Graduate Students, and <a href=\"http:\/\/gradstudents.carleton.ca\/dates\/\">this site<\/a> for all the dates that are important and relevant to you.\u00a0If you want to apply for <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/culturalmediations\/current-students\/\">travel funding <\/a>for a conference or research trip\u00a0(or review the policy around this funding) or\u00a0you are ready to submit receipts for <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/financialservices\/wp-content\/uploads\/Traveler-Declaration-Form.pdf\">reimbursement<\/a>\u00a0after you have received an award,\u00a0these links are all helpful!<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in Directed Reading course &#8211; there is a form for that. You can find it <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/culturalmediations\/wp-content\/uploads\/Directed-Reading-Approval-Form.pdf\">here<\/a>. Please submit it along with a\u00a0reading list attached and fully approved and signed by you, the Study Director\u00a0of the reading course with all the relevant information completed such as the topic, the description of the course content and the course code (CLMD 6901).<\/p>\n<p>And, if you are interested in submitting the documentation for your Comprehensive Exam II (CLMD 6908) &#8211; there is also a form for that! You can find the form <a href=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/culturalmediations\/wp-content\/uploads\/Comps-II-Approval-Form.pdf\">here<\/a>. Please submit this along with the\u00a0expected date for your exam, your program field and your bibliography a few weeks before you hope to start your examination.
