\"\"Community Service-Learning (CSL) encapsulates the University of Alberta’s commitments to learning, discovery, and citizenship, and to connecting communities (Dare to Discover<\/a><\/span>).\u00a0By completing a number of courses<\/a><\/span> with a CSL component, including CSL-designated courses<\/a><\/span>, students can earn a Certificate in Community Engagement and Service-Learning<\/a><\/span> upon graduation.\u00a0The program also offers opportunities for students to serve as interns on local non-profit boards<\/a><\/span>, and for U of A staff and graduate students to teach courses to adults facing barriers to education through the Humanities 101<\/a><\/span>\u00a0program.
