\"FourWe\u2019ve all attended webinars before. They\u2019re interesting in theory and have so much potential, but in practice, it’s often difficult to stay engaged in the topic. That\u2019s why we’re doing a webinar on webinars!<\/p>\n

On Thursday, March 9, from 2-3pm EST, join us for Building a better webinar: A view through experience and research into best practices<\/em><\/a>. Presenters Jeannie An and Jill Bedford will walk you through key tips and pointers and show you how to improve your next webinar.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe webinar provides practical tips on creating a webinar and how to keep participants engaged using interactive activities. Creating your first webinar can be daunting but we can help make the experience less intimidating,\u201d Jeannie An says of what to expect if you attend.<\/p>\n

The webinar will discuss some of the techniques and best practices, tools used, and the benefits of holding webinars. Some of the challenges of producing webinars will also be discussed, including how to reach your target audience.<\/p>\n

Webinars are a great way to teach and reach out to people; it\u2019s a valuable tool for your communications and knowledge mobilization efforts, which is why you should attend this one.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we were first asked to make our first webinar I was ecstatic; then terrified! It seemed like there was so much I had to learn. Having partners, and using learning tools made it a lot less intimating,\u201d says Jill Bedford. \u201cMaking your own webinar won’t seem nearly as intimidating after participating in this webinar. We will provide the tips and tools you need to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n
