Kim is recognized across Canada for her tireless dedication to women鈥檚 rights and women鈥檚 issues. She worked extensively with youth, men and women during her 30-year career in and around the Canadian Legal system and on June 30, 2014, Kim was appointed a member of the Order of Canada for advocating on behalf of women who are marginalized, victimized or incarcerated, and for her research on women in the criminal justice system.聽She鈥檚 also the executive director of the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies (CAEFS) and the Ariel F. Sallows Chair in Human Rights at the University of Saskatchewan.
