Lorraine has been active as a board member with Dalhousie Food Cupboard for several years. She was introduced to this community food bank serving Ottawa\u2019s West Centretown-Little Italy area by a former colleague at CCOC, one of the city\u2019s private non-profit housing organizations. She initially took on the Treasurer spot, a role that spanned 2013 to 2018. When Lorraine retired as CCOC\u2019s Finance Director in 2018-19, she decided to explore more \u201cmainstream\u201d activities within the charitable sector.
