| Selection of a Thesis Committee (form required: 聽M.Cog.Sc. Supervisory Committee Approval Form) | No later than end of October in 2nd听测别补谤 |
| Defend thesis prospectus (proposal) form by Graduate Administrator 2 weeks beforehand; form M.Cog.Sc. Prospectus Defence Approval Form) | No later than end of October of 2nd听测别补谤 |
| Complete any remaining coursework | By April of 2nd听测别补谤 |
| Indicate intention to graduate | By February of 2nd听测别补谤 if intending to defend before May of 2nd听测别补谤 (June graduation) or by September if intending to defend before end of Summer Term of 2nd听测别补谤 (November graduation). Specific dates are set by FGPA. |
| Inform Graduate Administrator of intention to defend thesis (form required Thesis Defense Examination Approval Form) | 5 weeks prior to defence |
| Defend thesis (forms & thesis required 3 weeks beforehand; 聽Thesis Defense Examination Approval Form) | No later than end of Summer Term in 2nd听测别补谤. Specific date is set by FGPA and is usually in the early part of September. |
| Upload final pdf version of thesis to FGPA | By last registration day in term following your final registration term. |
