Her research examines the comparative politics of energy and the environment, including the political economy of energy transitions, the contested politics of fossil fuel production, and the pathways that move us towards more just and sustainable energy systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is chair of the Steering Committee of the <a href=\"https:\/\/wseresearch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women &amp; Inclusivity in Sustainable Energy Research<\/a>\u00a0(WISER) network, on the Board of Directors at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cpsa-acsp.ca\/board-of-directors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Canadian Political Science Association<\/a>\u00a0(CPSA), an associate editor of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/journal\/earth-system-governance\/about\/editorial-board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Earth System Governance<\/em>\u00a0journal<\/a>, and a member of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cssn.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Climate Social Science Network<\/a>\u00a0(CSSN).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Jazwood holds a PhD in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Global Governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is a settler of Scottish and Irish ancestry and grew up on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki, Attiwonderonk, and Mississauga peoples.
