These awards were created to highlight the people, places, plants, trees, and animals of Ottawa that inspire us, bring the community together, and enrich our ecosystem. Your nominee could be a neighbour, teacher, scientist, activist, artist, innovator, policy maker, community or religious leader, or youth—or even places, plants, trees, and animals of Ottawa that you cherish and need our protection.
