Fifteen grants will be given per year, covering each of the five UNESCO regions: Africa &amp; Arab States, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America. If you are successful in receiving the International Rising Talents Fellowship, you will be asked to participate at the International Awarding ceremony held in Paris in March 2017, for an entire week (travel expenses will be paid for by L&#8217;Or\u00e9al Canada), where you will be filmed, interviewed and awarded this fellowship. Upon notification, applicants must submit their own application electronically through the online platform: <a href=\"https:\/\/juno.aucc.ca\/wes\/www.fwis.fr\" target=\"_blank\">www.fwis.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must be female Canadian citizens or permanent residents;<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be starting or currently enrolled in research at the post-doctoral level;<\/li>\n<li>Research must be carried out under the auspices of an academic supervisor at a Canadian host institution\/organization;<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must not have previously held a L&#8217;Or\u00e9al Canada For Women in Science Research Excellence Fellowship, with the support of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Funding Available<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum amount: CAD$20,000<\/li>\n<li>Project duration: Two (2) post-doctoral fellowships available, tenable for one academic year.
