{"id":6831,"date":"2015-10-07T09:31:13","date_gmt":"2015-10-07T13:31:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/curo\/2015\/funding-opp-france-canada-research-fund-2016\/"},"modified":"2016-01-18T08:38:20","modified_gmt":"2016-01-18T13:38:20","slug":"funding-opp-france-canada-research-fund-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/ci\/2015\/funding-opp-france-canada-research-fund-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"FUNDING OPP: France Canada Research Fund 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Background<\/h3>\n<p>The New Scientific Collaboration Support Program, financed by the France-Canada Research Fund (FCRF), aims to accomplish the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support developing new expert partnerships between France and Canada,<\/li>\n<li>Promote the advancement of research and innovation,<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and structure scientific cooperation between the two countries,<\/li>\n<li>Promote researcher mobility, particularly for young researchers, and<\/li>\n<li>Provide research training for young researchers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p>This program provides financing for new scientific projects jointly developed by French and Canadian teams <strong>that have never worked together before<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The financing is awarded to two-year projects in amounts ranging from $8,000 to $15,000, according to the needs expressed by lead researchers. This financing is primarily intended to support the mobility of researchers and their students.
