Projects are for 3-5 years, valued at $8-12 million.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for proposal submissions: August 14, 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.international.gc.ca\/development-developpement\/partners-partenaires\/calls-appels\/drc-rdc.aspx?lang=eng\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Support for Child and Youth Protection Initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThis call for proposals is designed to support project proposals whose objective is to improve the well-being of children and youth in the DRC through child and youth protection initiatives. Projects are for 3-5 years, valued at $3-5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for proposal submissions: October 22, 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.international.gc.ca\/development-developpement\/partners-partenaires\/calls-appels\/egypt-egypte.aspx?lang=eng\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Women&#8217;s Economic Empowerment in Egypt<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThe call for proposals is designed to support private sector economic growth by increasing women&#8217;s entrepreneurship and participation in the work force in Egypt. Projects are for up to 5 years, valued at $3-10 million.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for proposal submissions: October 21, 2015<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.international.gc.ca\/development-developpement\/partners-partenaires\/calls-appels\/s-sudan-soudan-s.aspx?lang=eng\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>From Farms to Markets in South Sudan<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To fund projects that that will boost food production and support the market participation of smallholder farmers in order to protect livelihoods. Projects are up to 3 years, valued at $6-8 million.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for proposal submissions: August 14, 2015<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p><em>These development project calls are open to proposals from Canadian, international, multilateral and local organizations working in the respective regions and have between three and five years of experience in managing initiatives of this nature. As such<\/em> 杏吧原创 will be required to join a consortium that includes partners that meet this general and in each call, specific eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<p>杏吧原创 faculty interested in participating in any of these calls and\/or foreign organizations interested creating a consortium with 杏吧原创 are encouraged to contact <a href=\"mailto:H&#x65;&#x6c;oi&#x73;&#x65;&#046;E&#x6d;&#x64;&#111;n&#x40;&#x63;&#097;r&#x6c;&#x65;&#116;on&#x2e;&#x63;a\" target=\"_blank\">Heloise Emdon<\/a>, International Projects Manager.<\/p>\n<h3>Funding Available<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Amounts vary.
