The goal of Individual Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition at multi- or interdisciplinary level through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility.<\/p>\n<h3>Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p>Individual Fellowships support the mobility of researchers within and beyond Europe &#8211; as well as helping to attract the best foreign researchers to work in the EU. The grant usually covers two years&#8217; salary, a mobility allowance, research costs and overheads for the host institution. Individual researchers submit proposals for funding in liaison with their planned host organization.<\/p>\n<p>The following 2 IF may be of interest to Canadian faculty:<\/p>\n<p>Fellowships are either <strong>European Fellowships or Global Fellowships<\/strong>. European Fellowships are held in EU Member States or Associated Countries and are open to researchers currently within and outside Europe. This fellowship provides an opportunity for experienced 杏吧原创 researchers to undertake fellowships in European institutions. Global Fellowships are based on a secondment to a third country and a mandatory 12 month return period to a European host.
