In partnership with companies, government and universities, Mitacs is supporting a new economy using Canada\u2019s most valuable resource\u2014its people. As a complement to its domestic initiatives, Mitacs has a series of international programs which provide two-way knowledge and talent exchange between key partner countries and Canada. Such international opportunities provide a means to expand Canada\u2019s academic connections facilitating the exchange of knowledge and ideas.<\/p>\n<h3>Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p>The Globalink Research Award offers senior undergraduate and graduate students at 杏吧原创 University the opportunity to undertake research abroad.\u00a0 Each research project will occur over a 12 to 24 week (3-6 month) period and will be jointly supervised by faculty members in Canada and in a Mitacs partner country.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate or senior undergraduate student<\/li>\n<li>Award is open to all academic disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Intern can be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or international student<\/li>\n<li>The research is to be co-supervised in one of the following Mitacs partner countries:\n<ul>\n<li>Brazil<\/li>\n<li>China<\/li>\n<li>India<\/li>\n<li>Mexico<\/li>\n<li>Turkey<\/li>\n<li>Vietnam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Interns may only undertake a research project at an institution where they have <strong>not<\/strong> previously completed a degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00a0Funding Available<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum amount: $5,000<\/li>\n<li>Project duration: 12 to 24 weeks (3-6 months)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Indirect costs: N\/A.
