The Bellagio community generates new knowledge to solve some of the most complex issues facing our world and creates art that inspires reflection, understanding, and imagination.<\/p>\n<p>The Bellagio Center is located in Northern Italy between Lake Como and Lake Lecco in the town of Bellagio.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>Residencies are open to university or think-tank based academics in all disciplines, creative artists, journalists, as well as policymakers and practitioners from the governmental and non-profit sectors. We bring together a broad, stimulating mix of disciplines and fields within the Bellagio Community.\u00a0We have a strong interest in applications that align with the Foundation\u2019s core issue areas: Advance Health, Revalue Ecosystems, Secure Livelihoods, and Transform Cities, but projects from all fields are welcomed.<\/p>\n<p>The Center accepts individuals as well as collaborative residencies for teams of\u00a0two to four people working on the same project. Residencies are typically four weeks in length.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Funding Available<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The award amount is unspecified. The Center typically offers two to four-week long residencies to no more than 15 residents at a time.<\/li>\n<li>Residents are housed in two main buildings and each resident is given a private room with bath and a study\/studio, either adjoining the bedroom or on the grounds. Room and board are provided to all residents and their spouses\/partners, but residents are responsible for their airfare and local transportation to and from Bellagio.
