The Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America (Fulbright Canada) is a binational, treaty-based, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with a mandate to identify the best and brightest minds in both countries and engage them in residential academic exchange.<\/p>\n
Canada-U.S. Fulbright awards offer a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of scholarly issues, including important contemporary issues that are relevant to Canada, to the United States, and to the relationship between the two countries. While the competition is officially field-open, we are especially keen to support scholars in the humanities, in the areas of communications and culture, in Canadian – American relations, in all areas of contemporary public policy, on topics relating to culture and to the environment, law, indigenous issues, and in pure and applied sciences. Please note that there are special competitions in certain areas and that these may vary over time and under particular circumstances.<\/p>\n
Note: <\/span><\/b>On Tuesday October 22nd<\/sup>, at 1:00pm EDT, Fulbright Canada held a Webinar that provided Canadian advisors, Canadian graduate students, and Canadian scholars with information about the Fulbright Program. Please encourage anyone that might be interested to listen to it and learn more about the opportunities that available to them through Fulbright Canada. The webinar provides details on our eligibility requirements, programs for students and scholars, the timeline for application, enrichment opportunities, and how to prepare a competitive application.<\/p>\n Traditional Awards for Scholars: US$12,500<\/b><\/p>\n US$12,500 for one semester for \u00a0emerging and established scholars, postdoctoral researchers, and experienced professionals to conduct research, teach, or undertake a combination of these activities.
